Iowa Weather And Climate
Iowa Weather means cold winters and hot humid summers. Areas on the Mississippi River are a little more moderate than those that are not on the river. There's plenty of snow in the winter, and storms caused by humidity in the spring and summer. Thunderstorms are often severe. Tornados aren't rare, although Iowa isn't the most active state for tornados.
