Connecticut Weather And Climate
Connecticut weather is humid and hot in the summer, and cold and often snowy in the winter. Temperatures are milder in locations near Long Island Sound, and more variable inland. The average annual snowfall ranges between 25 and 100 inches, with the northwestern part of the state hardest hit. Spring weather varies, one year it's warm and mild and the next it's winter like late into spring. As mentioned before, summers are hot and humid, with frequent thunderstorms. Fall is perhaps the nicest season in Connecticut, with a legendary changing of the leaves accompanied by comfortable weather.
