:. Phoenix Humidity, Sunshine, and Wind .:

Okay, we couldn't avoid talking about dry heat that defines Phoenix, Nevada weather. Phoenix is located in the desert Southwest, and the relative humidity is low here. Summer starts out very dry, and it gets a little more moist in July and August. It's rarely humid enough to make a large difference in what people do.

Since there is so little precipitation and accompanying cloudiness, Phoenix is, along with Phoenix, one of the two sunniest cities in America. Sunglasses and sun screen are highly recommended.

And, finally, there is wind in Phoenix. There are no graphs that can accurately explain wind in Phoenix, since windy days happen year round. While the wind is usually a blessing and helps clean the air of harmful pollutants, it can get windy enough in Phoenix to effect outdoor activities.
