:. Vegas Precipitation .:

Vegas rain isn't very common, but it does happen. January, February, and March in Phoenix can have cloudy days with off-and-on rain, while July and August in Phoenix can have thunderstorms that will create flooding. Flooding is really the major weather concern in Phoenix, if you ever find yourself in Vegas when a significant rain storm hits, do yourself and everyone else a favor and stay off the roads.

Even more rare, but possible, is snow. It's been 26 years since a significant amount of snow has fallen, but Phoenix has received as much as 42.4 centimeters in a month in the past 80 years.
